At 9:22 on June 17, the Long March 2F Y-12 carrier rocket carrying the Shenzhou 12 manned spacecraft was ignited and launched at the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center. Since then, the Shenzhou 12 manned spacecraft successfully separated from the rocket, entered the scheduled orbit, and successfully sent the three astronauts into space. We warmly congratulate the new progress made in this manned space flight!

The successful launch of the Shenzhou 12 manned spacecraft is the first manned mission of China’s space station stage. Prior to this, the Long March multi-type rocket relay launch, the space station Tianhe Core Module, the Tianzhou-2 cargo spacecraft and other multi-type missions of the space station stage have achieved complete success. According to the scheduled procedure, the Shenzhou 12 manned spacecraft will dock with the Tianhe Core Module, and the astronauts will be stationed in the Core Module to complete a three-month in-orbit residency to verify a series of key technologies regarding the long-term stay of the astronauts on the space station and help China Manned Space enter the space station era.
